Medical Marijuana Therapeutics is a small family owned and operated medical practice whose main goal is to bring the incredible, natural, and safe relief of cannabis to as many patients as possible. We started this practice because there is a huge information void and a lot of consumer confusion regarding cannabis products. We want to help patients get the medicine they need that would best address their medical issues.
The MMT medical team has completed multiple elective courses on medical cannabis to be able to recommend the most effective treatment for each patient. Bringing relief to every patient is a personal mission of each member of the MMT team. It is critically important to us to help patients find the most effective method of taking cannabis and determine the optimal dose of cannabis that will medicate but not intoxicate. This enables patients to get their quality of life back, ease their suffering, and to function the way that they want.
Dr. Murad is a classically trained pediatrician who graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. She has been in private practice in Atlanta for 35 years and has recently developed an interest in the medical applications of cannabis. While the state of Georgia does not require it, she has taken several courses on medical cannabis so that she can give the highest degree of medical care to her patients.
Melanie is currently working on her degree at Georgia State University in psychology and entrepreneurship. She has been certified in the Business of Cannabis and in Budtending by Oaksterdam University, America’s first cannabis college. She has acquired the skills and knowledge to successfully operate in a dispensary environment. She has extensive knowledge regarding cannabis strains as they apply to medical treatment. She can provide advice not only on strains but in what form it should be taken, in what dose, and where the best products can be purchased depending on condition. She is also an activist for cannabis reform.
Vicki earned her undergraduate degree in management at Virginia Tech and her MBA from the University of Georgia. She is an accomplished marketing research professional with over 25 years of experience in consumer research and strategic planning. Most of her career was spent at The Coca-Cola Company where she worked as a Senior Marketing Research Manager for 15 years and as a Marketing Consultant for 5 years. She also spent 5 years on the research supplier side of the business and became the Managing Director for the Southeast Region of a prominent vendor.
